60’ diameter x 22’ h

This piece is an evolution of the Reaction sculpture grown into a larger creature. At its core, the piece has similar segmented forms with the inclusion of mechanical arms that open and close as well as LED illumination. The large arms that radiate out from its center help to ground and support the piece. The sculpture is controlled by the location and presence of the viewers through a series of sensors and control systems. The triggered responses en- gage different subroutines, which are animated by music software. The custom designed hardware takes MIDI codes and interprets motion paths.
